Zusammenfassung

Transman Consulting represents a Switzerland-based client in Zug seeking a Fiduciary Expert to support financial administration for client companies in Switzerland. You’ll collaborate with accounting, tax and payroll professionals to ensure compliance with SCO and local legislation while meeting client expectations.

Responsibilities include completing financial statements, taxes, VAT, and payroll, managing closing processes, and preparing reporting packages in line with IFRS and US GAAP.

Qualifikationen

• Fluent in English and German (spoken and written).
• French language knowledge is an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Act as interface to accounting team as SME in accounting/tax and payroll.
• Independently manage financial administration for client companies in Switzerland.
• Prepare & review financial statements, handle taxes, VAT, and payroll for clients.
• Manage the closing process and create financial reports in line with SCO.
• Prepare & review reporting packages and cash flow statements according to IFRS & US GAAP.
• Provide guidance/review on transition calculations from US GAAP/IFRS to SCO.
• Collaborate with legal and tax advisors to ensure compliance with local legislation.
• Support team heads and related team members in complex issues and projects beyond fiduciary services.
• Prepare/review consolidated financial statements and intercompany reconciliations.
• Monitor developments in client structures to identify commercial opportunities.
• Participate in incorporation-, restructuring-, and liquidation projects.
• Possibility to take on role of administrative board member for Swiss mandates.

You’ll work with international clients and experts in accounting, tax, and payroll, expanding your experience beyond the Swiss fiduciary industry.

The Fiduciary Expert works independently and supports in the financial affairs relating to client companies in Switzerland. The Fiduciary Expert ensures, in close cooperation with qualified legal and tax advisors and in line with legislation and corporate policies, the timely and optimal financial administration of the client companies in line with local legislation and client’s expectations.

Responsibilities

• Acting as an interface to the accounting team as a subject matter expert in accounting/tax and payroll administration;
• Independently manage financial administration for client companies in Switzerland;
• Prepare & review financial statements, handle taxes, VAT, and payroll for clients;
• Managing the closing process and creating financial reports in line with Swiss Code of Obligations (SCO);
• Prepare & review of reporting packages and cash flow statements according to Swiss CO (IFRS & US GAAP);
• Provide guidance/review on transition calculations from US GAAP/IFRS to SCO;
• Collaborate closely with legal and tax advisors to ensure compliance with local legislation and corporate policies;
• Support the team-heads and related team members in complex issues and projects beyond fiduciary services, such as cross-departmental initiatives;
• Prepare/review of consolidated financial statements and handling intercompany transactions / reconciliations;
• Awareness of developments taking place within client structures and to identify possible commercial opportunities;
• Participate in incorporation-, restructuring-, and liquidation projects;
• Possibility to take on the role of administrative board member / managing officer for Swiss client mandates.

Profile

• Swiss federal Diploma Accounting/Fiduciary or Fiduciary Expert);
• Proven 3-5 years of experience in Switzerland and knowledge of all aspects of the financial statements and closing process;
• Strong knowledge of SCO;
• Knowledge in IFRS & US GAAP. Must be able to prepare IFRS-based financial statements and prepare transition calculations to SCO;
• Fluent in English and German (spoken, written, and report writing); knowledge of French is an advantage;
• Proficient in IT tools such as MS Office, Abacus, SAP, Viewpoint, and Dr. Tax;
• Analytical, proactive, organized, and a strong team player;
