Job summary

Hitachi Energy Dry Transformers Switzerland SA in Ticino seeks a Tendering Engineer to develop preliminary cost estimates for dry type transformers and inductors, aligning with customer specs.

You will support sales and customers with technical tender inputs, create accurate cost estimates, and collaborate with suppliers, while ensuring on-time submissions and clear communication across the bid team.

Qualifications

• University Degree in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
• First experience in a similar role.
• Experience in CAD and Microsoft 365 tools.
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills; self-starter mentality.

Responsibilities

• Review customer specifications to define technical tender requirements.
• Develop deviation sheets and propose suitable technical solutions.
• Create accurate cost estimates and define material requirements in ERP and define material requirements.
• Obtain accurate pricing information by collaborating with suppliers & vendors.
• Ensure on-time cost estimate submittal to the bid and proposal team.
• Maintaining accurate technical and costing product information throughout the entire deal lifecycle.
• Provide technical tender support during bid revision or negotiation.
• Ensure clear and timely communication with all tender stakeholders.
