Job summary

Hitachi Energy Dry Transformers Switzerland SA is seeking a Tendering Engineer to create preliminary design cost estimations for dry type transformers and inductors in line with customer specifications. You will support sales with technical input and act as the bridge between sales and engineering.

The role requires a university degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, experience in tendering, and proficiency with CAD and Microsoft 365.

Responsibilities

• Review customer specifications to define tender requirements.
• Develop deviation sheets and propose technical solutions.
• Create accurate cost estimates and define material requirements in ERP.
• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain accurate pricing.
• Ensure on-time submission of cost estimates to bid teams.
• Maintain up-to-date technical and costing information through the deal lifecycle.
• Provide tender support during bid revisions or negotiations.
