Job summary

AlpineReach Solutions in Switzerland is seeking a technically strong leader to take ownership of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform for an international, engineering‑driven environment. You will shape the platform’s long‑term evolution, define standards around ALM, Git, CI/CD, testing, deployment, monitoring and security, and guide external partners where needed.

The role requires hands‑on experience with Dataverse, model‑driven apps, Power Automate, and custom APIs.

I’m looking for someone to take technical ownership of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform for an international Swiss high-tech company operating in a highly engineering-driven environment.

The company develops sophisticated hardware and software solutions for real-time simulation, testing and complex engineering applications.

That also shapes the culture internally: many people come from software, hardware or engineering backgrounds, so topics like APIs, source control, CI/CD, testing and clean architecture are part of the normal conversation.

Corporate IT consists of just six people.

For Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, you would likely become the central technical expert within the company.

What you will actually be doing

You will take technical ownership of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform and help define how the platform evolves long term.

You will also help establish standards around architecture, ALM, Git, CI/CD, testing, deployment, monitoring and security, while guiding external partners where needed.

In short:

The goal is to build and run Dynamics 365 and Power Platform as a technically well-managed product platform, not simply work through a ticket queue.

What should already be in your toolkit

You should already have strong hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, particularly around Dataverse, model-driven apps, Power Automate and technical extensions.

Ideally, you also bring experience with:

• C# plug-ins and custom APIs
• REST, OData and the Dataverse Web API
• Integrations and authentication
• Git, ALM and CI/CD
• Solution design and technical architecture

Experience with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, React or PCF would be a strong plus.

You do not need to be an expert in every single technology listed above.

What matters is that you are technically strong enough to make good decisions yourself and take ownership of the outcome.

The practical details

Up to CHF 135,000 base salary

International environment with several global offices

English is mandatory

German is significantly less important than in many comparable roles in Switzerland
