Job summary

Arbeitnow seeks a Senior Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Technical Lead to own the technical development, integration, and lifecycle management of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environment. You will translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and determine when to use standard capabilities, low-code, or custom code.

This is a hands-on leadership role with governance and long‑term ownership.

Your Impact

We are looking for a senior, hands‑on Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Technical Lead to own the technical development, integration, and lifecycle management of our Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform environment. The role covers Dynamics 365 Sales, Dynamics 365 Customer Service, and Dynamics 365 Marketing, together with Microsoft Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, platform integrations, and related Azure services. You will translate business requirements into robust technical solutions and determine when to use standard platform capabilities, configuration, low‑code development, or custom code. The role combines hands‑on platform development with technical leadership, solution governance, and long‑term ownership. This is primarily a Dynamics 365 and Power Platform role. Strong professional software development experience withC#/.NET, React, and TypeScript is a valuable asset where requirements justify custom extensions, components, services, or integrations. You will work closely with business process owners across customer‑facing teams, Technical Customer Support, Marketing, Data Engineering, and Corporate IT.

Your Contribution:

• Own the platform: Set the technical direction for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, including architecture, environments, standards, and lifecycle management.
• Deliver solutions: Design, configure, develop, test, deploy, and maintain solutions across Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Apps, and Power Automate.
• Extend where needed: Develop Dataverse plug‑ins, custom APIs, business logic, client‑side extensions, and Power Apps Component Framework components when standard or low‑code capabilities are insufficient.
• Integrate enterprise systems: Design and maintain secure, reliable integrations between Dynamics 365, ERP, Microsoft 365, Azure, and other business systems.
• Ensure engineering quality: Establish appropriate practices for source control, testing, CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, documentation, security, and technical debt management.
• Lead technical delivery: Translate business requirements into sound solution designs, guide implementation partners, resolve complex technical issues, and ensure delivered solutions meet agreed standards.

Role Boundaries and Collaboration

The Senior Dynamics 365 & Power Platform Technical Lead is accountable for:

• Technical architecture and solution design across Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
• Dataverse application models, business logic, security configuration, and extensions.
• Platform integrations, environments, releases, and application lifecycle management.
• Technical standards, solution quality, and coordination of technical delivery.

Business process owners are accountable for

• Business processes, priorities, and functional requirements.
• Business policies and decision‑making.
• User adoption and expected business outcomes.
• Acceptance of process and solution changes.

Data Engineering is accountable for

• Microsoft Fabric lakehouses and data pipelines.
• Analytical data models and governed data products.
• Power BI platform delivery and analytical reporting.

Your Background

• Strong hands‑on experience developing and maintaining Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions, ideally including Dynamics 365 Sales and Customer Service.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse, including data models, security roles, business logic, solutions, environments, and model‑driven applications.
• Practical experience with Power Apps and Power Automate beyond basic configuration or citizen‑development scenarios.
• Experience extending Dynamics 365 and Dataverse using C# plug‑ins, custom APIs, and JavaScript/TypeScript client‑side extensions.
• Experience with REST/OData, the Dataverse Web API, authentication, error handling, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Practical experience with Power Platform ALM, Git‑based source control, CI/CD, testing, and controlled deployment across environments.
• Sound understanding of enterprise application security, reliability, maintainability, and supportability.
• Ability to translate business workflows into pragmatic technical solutions and make sound trade‑offs between standard functionality, low‑code development, and custom code.
• Ability to provide technical guidance, review solution designs and code, and work effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and implementation partners
• Eligibility to work in Switzerland

Strong plus / nice‑to‑have

• Professional software development experience with C#/.NET, including production applications, backend services, APIs, or integration components.
• Experience with React and TypeScript, particularly for custom user experiences or Power Apps Component Framework components.
• Experience designing, testing, deploying, and maintaining custom software beyond Dynamics 365 and low‑code solutions.
• Experience with Azure integration services such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Key Vault, or Application Insights.
• Practical experience with Dynamics 365 Marketing (Customer Insights – Journeys).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric and Power BI sufficient to collaborate effectively on data integration and reporting requirements.
• Experience with Power Platform governance or enterprise‑scale environment and solution management.
• Familiarity with Copilot Studio or AI‑enabled capabilities within Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400), or comparable Microsoft Learn training supported by relevant practical experience.
