Job summary

The Global Fund is seeking an Advisor, Strategy Development to shape the six-year Strategy and future priorities. You will lead strategic design, coordinate cross‑secretariat workstreams, and distill evidence into clear recommendations for senior management and the Board.

Responsibilities include overseeing strategy steps, developing briefing materials, guiding junior staff, and presenting to diverse audiences to align on evolving strategic direction and organizational changes.

Qualifications

• Advanced university degree in business administration, public health, international development, development economics or a related field.
• Experience in strategic direction, design and execution of strategy and/or policy development processes.
• Experience leading complex multi-stakeholder projects and communicating strategic messages.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic vision and design key components of the Strategy development process.
• Oversee and project manage Strategy steps, matrix managing stakeholders across the Secretariat and wider partnership.
• Develop materials to support decision making and meeting reports for Strategy development.
• Supervise junior team members on Strategy workstreams, distilling key take-aways on health and development trends.
• Develop presentations and lead engagement with internal and external stakeholders to build consensus on evolving Strategy direction.
• Lead drafting of Board and Committee presentations and papers.
• Engage with teams to prepare for Strategy operationalization, including policy, funding model evolution, KPIs, and grant lifecycle.
