Job summary

The Global Fund seeks a Strategy Officer to drive the development and evolution of its six-year strategy and related policies. The role involves rigorous research, landscape analysis, and synthesis of evidence to inform strategic choices.

You will prepare materials for senior management and governance, work with Secretariat teams, and support strategy operationalization, with emphasis on stakeholder consultation and policy guidance.

Qualifications

• First degree in public health, international development, development economics, business administration or a related field.
• Experience distilling and synthesizing key strategic points from research and stakeholder input.
• Experience drafting concise reports and high-quality presentations for senior management.

Responsibilities

• Undertake high-quality information gathering and analysis in public health and development to support the Global Fund Strategy.
• Contribute to landscape analyses on HIV, TB, malaria, health systems and development indicators.
• Prepare background materials and reports for high-level meetings with stakeholders across the Global Fund partnership.
• Synthesize conclusions and key strategic takeaways from diverse discussions and input.
• Support development of succinct, strategic materials guiding stakeholder input and decision-making on strategy topics.
