Job summary

The Global Fund in Geneva seeks an Advisor, Strategy Development to help shape the organization’s six-year Strategy. You will lead components of the strategy process, translate complex evidence into clear strategic choices, and prepare materials for senior management, the Strategy Committee and the Board.

Qualifications

• Advanced university degree in business administration, public health, international development, development economics or a related field.
• Experience in strategy, policy development and multi-stakeholder processes.
• Ability to translate evidence into strategic recommendations for senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic vision and design key components of the Strategy development process.
• Oversee and manage Strategy development steps with input from stakeholders across the Secretariat and partnership.
• Prepare background documents and decision materials for senior management, Strategy Committee and Board.
• Supervise junior team members on strategy workstreams, e.g., landscape analyses and lessons learned.
• Lead engagement with internal and external stakeholders to build consensus on evolving Strategy direction.
