Job summary

Roche Diagnostics International AG in Rotkreuz is seeking a Technical Product Lead- Consumables to own the product lifecycle, drive capacity planning, and manage budget and stakeholders across external manufacturers. You will lead cross-functional squads, align with IPM and OPPM functions, and ensure compliance and quality in a fast-paced diagnostic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or business field.
• 1–3 years of product leadership experience, preferably in a matrixed environment.
• Proven PLM experience including quality, supply, and cost management.
• Experience in External Manufacturing and day-to-day supplier interaction.
• Experience in strategy and capacity planning with business-case calculations.
• Experience in IVD or medical device environments with regulatory documentation.
• Fluent in English and German for global presentations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete accountability for the assigned product across its lifecycle including quality, supply, compliance, cost, risk management, product specs, and documentation.
• Manage all product changes, complaints, deviations, and production assets including equipment and spare parts; execute risk management.
• Develop and implement product-wide capacity plan, align with Product Strategy, and calculate business cases for investments.
• Manage SMC cost account, budget planning, and identify potential savings; chair the Squad and allocate resources.
• Coordinate with suppliers, subsuppliers, procurement, IPM, and GSC to align demand forecasts and performance.
• Oversee Squad performance and budgets (OPEX, CAPEX, development, PCQT); represent External Manufacturing in system projects.
• Prepare Annual Product Review with stakeholders and trigger actions, risks, and mitigations.
• Chair operative Product Meetings with suppliers, monitor safety stock and hub stock against targets.
• Develop production output reports and report progress to leadership; monitor demand forecast developments.
