Zusammenfassung

PAVE Space in Villeneuve (VD) is seeking a senior technical-commercial lead to own the interface with customers, translate their needs into signed contracts, and shape Ibex mission designs. You will work with a VP of Sovereign Affairs and the engineering team from day one.

You will design and simulate orbital scenarios, size missions, translate concepts into architectures, and prepare technical sections of proposals, building reference models to speed future bids. Fluent English is required.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in the space sector with solid spacecraft systems and mission design.
• Strong orbital mechanics fundamentals; able to size a mission and recognize when it does not close.
• Familiarity with Space Situational Awareness concepts and terminology.
• Direct customer engagement; can explain technical trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Turn a customer conversation into a credible technical response in days, not weeks.
• Fluent English (working language).

Aufgaben

• Design and simulate orbital scenarios based on customer needs for early-stage qualification.
• Perform vehicle sizing and trade studies for Ibex missions.
• Translate customer concepts into clear mission architectures and performance parameters.
• Prepare the technical sections of proposals and RFP responses.
• Build and maintain reference scenarios, assumptions, and models to speed up future bids.
• Qualify opportunities with the commercial lead and strengthen technical positioning in discussions.
