Zusammenfassung

PAVE Space in Villeneuve, Switzerland, is building a high-precision metrology lab for incoming inspection of aerospace hardware. You will design and lead the initial inspection function, selecting equipment and defining routines to ensure traceability and flight qualification readiness.

You’ll work closely with Procurement, Workshop and Manufacturing, reporting to the Quality / PA Lead. This is hands-on, challenging, and pivotal to building a first-class inspection capability for a space program.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years in metrology or incoming inspection in aerospace or precision industries.
• Hands-on CMM programming and operation.
• Strong GD&T fluency and ability to translate drawings into measurement plans.
• Familiarity with ISO 17025 calibration discipline and traceability.
• Experience with optical metrology and surface/form measurements.

Aufgaben

• Lead incoming inspection of supplier hardware and parts.
• Select and commission shop inspection equipment (CMM, optical, surface roughness, profilometry, hardness).
• Manage calibration register and traceability to ISO 17025.
• Document, escalate, and resolve supplier non-conformances with Procurement and QA.
• Define inspection tooling and references for each station.
• Provide spot-check support for in-house parts and measurement validation.
