ClearSpace in Switzerland seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to drive the full technical development of satellite missions—from early concept and requirements through to launch and in-orbit commissioning. You will coordinate system-level activities, manage interfaces, and maintain the system baseline and engineering documentation.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, oversee subsystems and software design, and ensure traceable, coherent system evolution across the program lifecycle.

Qualifikationen

• BSc or MSc in Aerospace/Engineering/Physics or similar.
• 10+ years experience in spacecraft industry.
• Experience decomposing system requirements and performing trade studies.
• Familiarity with full space program lifecycle from business development to delivery.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams.
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple critical activities.

Aufgaben

• Participation in technical activities planning, including schedule and cost.
• Manage SE elements: functional analysis, COE, mission analysis, system modes, requirements and interfaces.
• Risk, opportunity, and resolution planning.
• Oversee sub-systems and software design and interface control.
• Provide input to Product Assurance activities.
• Lead technical assessments, trade-offs, baselines, and budgets.
• Write and maintain engineering documentation and baselines.
• Ensure development and validation planning for system, spacecraft and Ground Segment.
• Support AIV/T phase execution and in-orbit commissioning.
• Consolidate and improve system engineering processes company-wide.
