Zusammenfassung

Strativ Group in Switzerland is hiring a Mission Engineer to join a small, high-ownership team as we set up our first customer mission. You will work directly with customers to understand their mission needs and feasibility.

You will shape mission concepts from early requirements to technical solutions, translate trade-offs for non-technical stakeholders, and collaborate across GNC, AOCS, and mission analysis to support design decisions.

Qualifikationen

• Background in GNC, AOCS, or mission analysis.
• Strong technical depth and ability to earn trust.
• Comfort in a lean, fast-moving environment with high ownership.
• Excellent communication, able to explain complex engineering to customers.
• Satellite or launch programme experience is a plus.

We're hiring on behalf of a fast-growing European new space company building orbital transfer vehicles, moving satellites from low Earth orbit to their final orbit in a fraction of the time it takes today. Recently closed a significant seed funding round and preparing for their first in-orbit demonstration mission.

They're looking for a Mission Engineer to join a small, high-ownership team as they set up their first customer mission.

What you'll be doing:

• Sitting directly with customers to understand their mission needs and assess feasibility
• Shaping mission concepts from early-stage requirements through to technical solutions
• Translating complex engineering trade-offs into clear, digestible guidance for non-technical stakeholders
• Working closely across GNC, AOCS and mission analysis to support mission design decisions
• Acting as the technical bridge between engineering and the customer throughout mission planning

What we're looking for:

• A background in GNC, AOCS, or mission analysis
• Genuine technical depth, able to earn trust with engineers and non-engineers alike
• Comfort operating in a fast-moving, lean environment with high ownership and less structure than a large organisation
• Strong communication skills, able to explain complex engineering clearly to customers
• Experience with real satellite or launch programmes is a strong plus
