Qualifikationen

• Degree in Software, Electronics, Computer, Automation or related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in software/system testing or verification & validation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Robot Framework.
• Experience in test automation.
• Good understanding of electronic systems and PCB-based hardware.
• Experience with embedded or hardware/software integrated systems.
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Professional proficiency in German and English.

Your responsibilities

As a Software/ System Test Engineer, you will contribute to the verification and validation of complex systems integrating software and electronic components.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases and test procedures;
• Develop and execute automated tests using Robot Framework;
• Perform software and system-level verification and validation activities;
• Test systems integrating software/firmware and electronic hardware, including PCB-based components;
• Analyze test results, identify failures, and support troubleshooting activities;
• Investigate issues across software and hardware interfaces;
• Document test results, anomalies, and verification activities;
• Collaborate closely with software, electronics, and system engineering teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related technical field;
• 3–5 years of professional experience in software/system testing or verification & validation;
• Strong hands‑on experience with Robot Framework;
• Experience in test automation;
• Good understanding of electronic systems and PCB‑based hardware;
• Experience working with embedded or hardware/software integrated systems;
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills;
• Strong communication and teamwork skills;
• Professional proficiency in German and English.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python;
• Knowledge of embedded communication protocols and interfaces;
• Experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), test benches, or laboratory testing;
• Previous experience in highly regulated industries such as Aerospace, Defense, Automotive, Railway, or Industrial Automation.
