AYES - Management & Technology Consulting is seeking a Verification & Validation Engineer in Switzerland to work on safety-critical systems, with a strong interest in railway signalling and CBTC.

You will perform verification activities, analyze requirements, and develop test cases, with collaboration across engineering teams. The role offers flexible working arrangements, including on-site or remote work.

Fluency in English and at least two years of relevant experience are required.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in Verification, Validation or System Testing.
• Experience in safety-critical industries, Railway preferred.
• Knowledge of requirements management and traceability.
• Familiarity with CBTC/ETCS/ERTMS or Interlocking is a plus.
• Fluent English is required.

To strengthen our team in Switzerland, we are looking for a Verification & Validation Engineer with experience in safety-critical environments and a strong interest in railway signalling and CBTC systems.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform Verification & Validation activities on safety-critical systems and subsystems;
• Analyse system and functional requirements and define appropriate verification criteria;
• Prepare and execute verification procedures, test specifications and test cases;
• Analyse test results, identify deviations and support defect resolution;
• Ensure requirements traceability throughout the verification process;
• Support system integration, functional testing and validation activities;
• Prepare verification documentation, reports and technical evidence;
• Collaborate with system, software, testing and safety engineering teams

Your Profile

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field;
• At least 2 years of professional experience in Verification, Validation or System Testing;
• Experience in a safety-critical industry, preferably Railway, but Automotive or Aerospace backgrounds are also considered;
• Knowledge of requirements management, system integration and verification processes;
• Previous experience with railway signalling systems such as CBTC, ETCS, ERTMS or Interlocking is considered a plus;
• Familiarity with requirements management and traceability tools such as DOORS is an advantage;
• Fluent English is required;
• Analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
