The candidate will manage DAS integration, instrumentation, and data analysis across multidisciplinary teams in Europe and the USA.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in avionics testing, systems integration, and measurement technologies, with experience in large-scale DAS and flight test

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Avionics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in avionics testing, system integration, or aerospace test environments.
• Broad knowledge of electrical engineering, including measurement technology, data buses, EMC, and PCB design.
• Experience with distributed large-scale Data Acquisition Systems (DAS).
• Hands-on experience with imc CRON OS or comparable vehicle/aerospace data acquisition systems.
• Background in Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI) or aerospace instrumentation.
• Strong understanding of measurement theory and sensor technologies.
• Experience planning and executing rig or laboratory test campaigns.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a structured, hands-on approach.

Aufgaben

• Define, implement, and maintain avionics test capabilities within the Iron Bird integration and testing environment
• Ensure strict configuration control of avionics test rigs and associated hardware/software
• Plan, coordinate, and execute avionics rig integration and verification test campaigns
• Support the design and validation of signal switching architectures and auxiliary power system
• Establish, configure, and maintain a distributed large-scale Data Acquisition System (DAS) for rig testing
• Integrate the DAS with data management and analysis environments
• Define and implement instrumentation solutions for mechanical and electrical test rigs
• Install, calibrate, and validate sensors and measurement equipment to ensure accurate data collection
• Analyze test data, troubleshoot integration issues, and support continuous improvement of testing activities
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure successful system integration and qualification

• High level of responsibility, ownership, and attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and international engineering teams
• Fluent in English; German is considered a plus
