Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY LTD in Baden, Switzerland, seeks a Commercial Tendering Specialist to lead international tenders in substation automation, protection and control. You will work with sales engineers, technical tendering specialists and support functions to drive approvals and successful submissions.

You will coordinate with legal, tax, trade compliance, and finance to evaluate costs, risks and terms, and you will partner with Sales Managers through negotiations to finalize contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar.
• Understanding of commercial aspects of a tender (Legal, Tax, Export Control, etc.).
• Ability to work in multi-cultural and virtual teams with strong risk management.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex tenders in Substation Automation, Control and Protection within Hub Europe.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to evaluate commercial aspects, costs and risks.
• Prepare complex tender documentation and cost calculations with cash flows and financial consolidations.
• Support contract negotiations by challenging tender information and defining project setup and terms.
• Collaborate with Technical Bid Managers on all technical matters.
• Drive continuous improvement and share lessons learned for efficiency and quality.
• Provide feedback and productivity insights to Management.
