About the Role

Swiss Himmel GmbH is looking for a Senior Telecom Transformation & Delivery Leader to lead large-scale telecom transformation and Business Support Systems (BSS) programs for major European telecom operators.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience across Telecom BSS, CRM, billing, provisioning, rating, inventory, data migration, testing, operations, and platform modernization, combined with strong delivery and client leadership experience.

This is a senior client-facing role requiring the ability to manage complex multi-vendor environments, lead large international teams, oversee delivery performance, and work closely with senior business and technology stakeholders.

Key ResponsibilitiesTelecom Transformation & BSS LeadershipLead large-scale telecom transformation programs across BSS and digital platforms.Provide strategic direction across CRM, billing, rating, provisioning, inventory, and related telecom systems.Drive modernization, migration, testing, transition, and operational transformation initiatives.Lead consolidation and migration of legacy BSS platforms to strategic target solutions.Define delivery approaches and ensure successful execution across the complete technology lifecycle.Delivery & Program ManagementOwn end-to-end delivery across complex telecom programs, from planning through implementation and transition.Manage large onsite/offshore and multi-vendor delivery models.Establish delivery governance, SLAs, KPIs, quality standards, and operational controls.Manage risks, dependencies, escalations, resources, and delivery performance.Lead large distributed teams across Switzerland, DACH, Nordics, UK, Eastern Europe, and global delivery centres.Ensure customer commitments, timelines, quality, and commercial objectives are met.Client & Executive Stakeholder ManagementAct as a senior point of contact for telecom clients and executive stakeholders.Build and maintain strong relationships with Tier-1 telecom operators.Lead governance meetings, steering committees, delivery reviews, and senior-level escalations.Translate business priorities into practical technology and delivery plans.Provide advisory support on telecom architecture, transformation priorities, and operating models.Commercial & Account LeadershipSupport account strategy, commercial management, and revenue growth.Manage P&L, margins, contracts, SLA governance, and resource planning.Identify opportunities for account expansion and new transformation initiatives.Support presales, solutioning, proposals, and customer presentations.Work with partners and technology providers to develop effective delivery solutions.Migration, Testing & OperationsLead complex application and data migration programs across telecom environments.Oversee testing, transition, production support, and operational readiness.Ensure smooth migration from legacy platforms while maintaining business continuity.Drive continuous improvement across delivery and operational processes.Support issue resolution and senior-level escalation management.
