You will collaborate across Research & Early Development, Manufacturing, and Quality; author reports and patents; supervise scientists; and stay current with metal catalysis trends to deliver cost-effective, high-quality pharmaceutical processes.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in organometallic chemistry or homogeneous catalysis with a Postdoc and at least 5 years of chemical process R&D experience in the pharma or fine chemical industry.
• Experience in transition metal catalysis, catalyst synthesis and characterization, and scaling up catalytic processes from lab scale to multi-kg production campaigns.

Aufgaben

• Design and optimize transition metal catalyzed reactions and organic synthesis routes for scalable, safe, sustainable drug substance production.
• Engineer catalyst structures to improve yield, selectivity, cost and sustainability; document results per internal regulations.
• Collaborate with Research & Early Development, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Quality; author reports, publications and patents.
