Roche in Basel is seeking an Analytical Associate in Analytical Development for Synthetic Molecules. The position is based in Basel, with start dates in late 2026, a 12-month contract, and 100% workload; home office is not available.

You will develop robust analytical methods (HPLC, GC, LC-MS, GC-MS, KF) to evaluate starting materials, intermediates and APIs, plan experiments, and collaborate with process development and QC teams to ensure smooth method transfers and regulatory documentation.

Qualifikationen

• Completed vocational training in natural sciences or a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry/related field with at least 2-3 years pharma experience.
• Solid experience with analytical instruments (HPLC, GC, KF, MS) and method development.
• Strong scientific writing and ability to summarize results precisely.

Aufgaben

• Develop and optimize analytical methods (HPLC, GC, LC-MS, GC-MS, KF) for quality assessment of starting materials, intermediates, and APIs.
• Plan and carefully execute experiments including reaction monitoring and method development.
• Collaborate with process development and cross-functional teams to coordinate analytics and sample management.
• Work with QC to ensure smooth transfer of methods and documentation for validations and filings.
• Create high-quality documentation and reports; apply innovative tools to improve workflows.
