Siegfried Evionnaz SA is seeking a Senior Chemist R&D to develop and optimize robust chemical processes for clinical and commercial pharmaceutical products. You will lead cross-functional activities, drive technology transfer from lab to pilot and commercial manufacturing, and mentor junior scientists in a multidisciplinary environment.

You will apply DoE, QbD and PAT methodologies, ensure GMP compliance, and collaborate with Production, QA, Regulatory, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable,

Qualifikationen

• PhD or MSc in Organic Chemistry, Process Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
• 5+ years of pharmaceutical process development experience.
• Strong expertise in synthetic organic chemistry, reaction mechanisms, process optimization and scale-up.
• Knowledge of DoE, QbD, PAT and statistical data analysis.
• Experience supporting technology transfer from lab to pilot or commercial manufacturing.
• Solid understanding of GMP requirements and ICH guidelines.
• Excellent problem-solving and scientific reasoning.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, including customer interactions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high scientific standards.
• Fluency in English and French.

Aufgaben

• Leading development, optimization, and troubleshooting of chemical manufacturing processes.
• Supporting process scale-up and technology transfer from lab to pilot plant and commercial manufacturing.
• Driving continuous improvement to increase process robustness, efficiency, quality and sustainability.
• Applying DoE, QbD, PAT and data analysis to accelerate process understanding.
• Acting as technical lead for customer projects during meetings and discussions.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Production, QA, Regulatory, Engineering and HSE.
• Preparing development reports, risk assessments, tech transfer packages and regulatory documents.
• Identifying innovative technologies to strengthen process development capabilities.
• Mentoring junior scientists and sharing knowledge across the organization.
• Contributing to strategic development of Process Development through innovation and operational excellence.
