Job summary

Lonza is seeking a Program Coordinator in Basel, Switzerland to act as a strategic partner to the Program Head. You will maintain the integrated program plan, coordinate governance, and drive transparency across workstreams and partners.

Responsibilities include budgeting updates, executive-ready materials, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining strong interfaces with groups and sites. Fluency in English and proven coordination skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Business Administration, Project Management, IT, Operations Management or related discipline.
• Experience with project planning, governance, reporting and cross-functional delivery.
• Fluent English with strong communication and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the integrated program plan with milestones, dependencies and updates across workstreams.
• Manage timely and accurate budget inputs, spend tracking and transparency of costs.
• Develop executive-ready presentations and decision-support content for leadership.
• Facilitate cross-workstream alignment and escalate critical risks or dependencies.
• Coordinate external partners and events, including visits and workshops.
• Interface with Group Operations, Global Functions, Platforms and sites.
• Support program communications and change activities.
• Provide clear progress visibility to the Program Head on priorities and decisions.
• Ensure governance meetings run effectively with agendas, minutes and follow-ups.
