Job summary

Lonza in Basel, Switzerland seeks a Senior Director to lead the cross‑platform Advanced Manufacturing Technology program. You will shape the technology roadmap and translate emerging capabilities into scalable, value‑driven solutions for manufacturing, lab and data teams.

You will drive lighthouse opportunities, partner selection, and replication across platforms, with a focus on automation, sensing, PAT, and digital twins to reduce cost and elevate quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Engineering, Automation, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in advanced manufacturing technology and operations transformation.
• Proven ability to define cross-platform roadmaps and guide deployment.

Responsibilities

• Define the cross-platform advanced manufacturing technology roadmap.
• Identify opportunities in robotics, automation, sensing and process control.
• Drive technology assessment, partner selection and solution development.
• Translate requirements into reusable deployment capabilities across sites.
