Job summary

Forfirm is seeking a senior, client-facing leader to own the bank's payments platform. You will oversee projects, daily operations, governance, and vendor coordination, combining banking domain knowledge with application ownership and people management.

Based in Switzerland's financial ecosystem, this on-site role requires 7+ years in banking, a degree in Economics/Finance/CS, and fluency in Italian and English (German/French a plus).

Qualifications

• 7+ years in banking, with a focus on payment systems.
• Experience managing IT/banking projects in structured environments.
• Autonomy on client premises and ability to coordinate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage payments platform projects end-to-end: requirements, design, vendor coordination, UAT, releases.
• Oversee configurations and interfaces between core systems and service bureaus; ensure payment flows are continuous.
• Provide second-level support, analyze issues, coordinate incident resolution with vendors.
• Support regulatory compliance and audits related to payments (ISO 20022, AML controls).
• Plan team capacity, supervise daily activities, and report status to the department head.
