Job summary

SCIEX is seeking a Senior Application Support Specialist in Switzerland, preferably Basel area. You will provide high‑quality technical support for mass spectrometry products to Pharma and Clinical/Forensic customers, and work with the Sciex Application Network.

The role is field-based across the EMEA region, with travel and strong emphasis on customer engagement. Fluency in German and English is required; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree/PhD in chemistry, life sciences or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record in analytical chemistry and MS methods development.
• Fluent German with strong English; French an advantage.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales support via visits, demos, seminars and workshops.
• Deliver post-sales on-site training and responsive support to customers.
• Gather market feedback to inform strategies and product opportunities.
• Collaborate with global teams to resolve technical problems quickly.
