Manpower in Switzerland invites an experienced HR professional to develop and strengthen the local HR function. This hands-on role focuses on building structured HR processes, ensuring Swiss compliance, and acting as a trusted partner to management.

You will oversee onboarding to offboarding, manage contracts, and coordinate with payroll and authorities, with English and Italian language proficiency being essential in a growing, international environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in an HR Generalist/Operations/Administration role in Switzerland.
• Strong knowledge of Swiss employment law and HR administration.
• Proven experience managing employment contracts and the full employee lifecycle.
• Fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
• HR Assistant Certificate and/or HR Specialist certification is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.
• Draft, review and administer employment contracts and all HR documentation per Swiss law.
• Ensure accurate personnel administration, employee records and HR documentation.
• Act as internal reference point for Swiss employment law, HR compliance and employee administration.
• Coordinate HR administrative activities with payroll providers, external partners and authorities.
• Manage work permits, social insurance administration, employee certificates, absences and other employment-related matters.
• Develop, implement and improve HR policies, procedures and workflows to support business growth.
• Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and establish best practices.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Prepare HR reports and maintain accurate employee data.
• Work closely with international management, providing HR guidance and communicating in English.
