Job summary

Sommet Education is seeking an HR Officer for a permanent, 100% position in Glion and Bulle, Switzerland, with some home-office flexibility. You will manage the full employee lifecycle, support payroll and compliance, and coordinate apprentices across campuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of HR experience in administration, recruitment and payroll coordination.
• Fluent French & English (spoken and written).
• Solid knowledge of Swiss employment law, social security, tax and payroll; knowledge of UK legislation is a plus.
• Exceptional administrative precision with high-volume tasks.
• Strong organisation, prioritisation and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full employee lifecycle administration from onboarding to offboarding, including contracts and exit processes.
• Maintain accurate HR records and ensure data compliance.
• Coordinate apprentices and trainees with schools and authorities.
• Provide first-line HR support and guidance to employees and managers.
• Support recruitment activities and end-to-end hiring for assigned positions.
• Advise employees on payroll, social security, tax and immigration matters.
• Oversee time and absence management and attendance processes.
