Zusammenfassung

Orange Business Services in Geneva seeks a senior Cloud Data Expert Consultant to lead data engineering, cloud infrastructure and DevOps for an enterprise data platform transformation. You will optimize PySpark workloads, manage Terraform modules, and enhance CI/CD pipelines while supporting production operations and stakeholder alignment.

You will work with Databricks, dbt and Kubernetes in hybrid cloud environments, ensuring secure, scalable data solutions and comprehensive documentation.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years hands-on experience in data engineering, cloud data platforms or enterprise data platform operations.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Python and PySpark.
• Experience with Terraform, including maintenance of existing modules and enhancements.
• Experience maintaining, troubleshooting and improving CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven experience supporting production enterprise data platforms in production.
• Practical experience with cloud and on‑premises networking, including VNETs and firewalls.
• Ability to engage with business stakeholders and translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Structured engineering mindset with emphasis on code quality, testing and operations readiness.
• Strong collaboration skills in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Fluent English and French.

Aufgaben

• Develop, review, troubleshoot and optimize Python and PySpark workloads for enterprise data use cases.
• Maintain and improve Terraform modules supporting cloud data infrastructure.
• Maintain, troubleshoot and enhance CI/CD pipelines used for data and infrastructure delivery.
• Support operation of a large enterprise-wide data platform in production, including incident analysis and root‑cause investigation.
• Design, configure and troubleshoot cloud and hybrid networking components (VNETs, firewalls, connectivity).
• Work with stakeholders to clarify requirements and translate them into reliable data solutions.
• Collaborate with architecture, security, infra, integration, BI and platform teams for maintainable solutions.
• Contribute to dbt transformations, Databricks workloads and Kubernetes-based environments where relevant.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks and handover material.
• Support knowledge transfer and upskilling of internal data teams.
