Zusammenfassung

Orange Business Services is seeking a Data Platform Manager Consultant to lead the stabilization, industrialization and continuous improvement of an enterprise Cloud Data Platform in Geneva. You will coordinate Data Engineering activities, strengthen Run reliability and implement ITIL practices while working with cross-functional teams including BI, IT and finance.

Qualifikationen

• Experience managing enterprise data platforms and coordinating Data Engineering teams.
• Solid understanding of Cloud Data Platform operating models and DataOps practices.
• Proficiency with Azure cloud services including security, identity, networking and cost awareness.
• Hands-on Databricks experience: jobs, notebooks, orchestration and production support.
• Strong knowledge of dbt workflows, data modelling, testing and DataOps practices.
• Experience with ITIL practices and managed services governance.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate and animate Data Engineering activities, incl. backlog prioritization and risks.
• Industrialize the Cloud Data Platform with reusable standards and release practices.
• Support ITIL incident, change and service management processes.
• Improve Run reliability and service performance, targeting availability and predictability.
• Optimize the managed services model with governance, SLAs and KPIs.
• Coordinate end-to-end delivery with Integration and BI teams from source to consumption.
• Contribute to a Data Platform service catalogue and pricing model.
• Monitor cloud spend, Databricks workloads and ingestion costs; forecast consumption.
• Identify cost optimization opportunities for steering committees.
• Contribute to a 3-year technology roadmap including DataOps, FinOps and automation.
• Coach client teams and produce runbooks and hands-on enablement.
