Avaloq, a Swiss wealth-tech leader, seeks an experienced Database Administrator to oversee Oracle-focused databases and other platforms. The role focuses on enterprise database environments, migrations, performance tuning, and high availability to support critical applications.

You will work across on-premises and cloud migrations (OCI, AWS, Azure), implement backup/recovery strategies, and collaborate with infrastructure and project teams to deliver compliant, scalable solutions.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years of experience as a DBA with strong Oracle Database focus.
• Hands-on Oracle Database administration in large enterprise environments.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Knowledge of backup/recovery, performance tuning, and security.

Aufgaben

• Administer Oracle Database environments as primary technology, including installation, patching, upgrades.
• Manage and support PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB and other NoSQL platforms.
• Plan and execute migrations to cloud services (OCI, AWS, Azure).
• Implement high-availability and disaster recovery solutions across platforms.
• Monitor performance, backups, and data integrity; troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application and project teams; produce documentation.
