Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Switzerland is seeking a world-class Senior Account Manager (GAM) to drive multi-million-dollar cloud and AI transformations for enterprise customers in Zürich. You will partner with executives to articulate a clear vision, build trusted advisor relationships, and deliver measurable business value across AWS's portfolio.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, craft 3-year account strategies, lead negotiations on legal agreements, and develop case studies

Qualifications

• 10+ years of quota-bearing technology field sales or business development.
• Experience presenting to C-level executives and IT leaders.
• Proven success closing large-scale technology projects with Enterprise Customers.
• Experience growing technology adoption and transformational account strategies.
• Proven success bringing new customers on board.

Responsibilities

• Identify and build trusted advisor relationships with key influencers and decision-makers (CxOs, VPs, Board members) across Lines of Business and functional areas
• Develop and implement comprehensive 3-year account strategies aligned to customer board-level priorities that drive growth and maximize revenue opportunities
• Work with internal AWS teams and external partners to architect and deliver best-in-class business solutions for customers
• Display leadership with the ability to communicate to senior executives; write executive briefing documents
• Operate with autonomy; exercise critical business judgment in engagements
• Drive strategic pipeline creation and convert large-scale transformation programs to revenue
• Create executive-level value propositions tied to measurable ROI
• Monitor Energy & Utility industry trends to provide strategic insights and identify opportunities
• Develop case studies and reference materials highlighting outcomes on AWS
• Participate and lead negotiation and closing of legal agreements such as EAs and PPAs
