Lever, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Developer (Node.js/Python) based in Switzerland. You will design, build, and operate backend services and APIs using Node.js, TypeScript, and Python, owning architecture, scalability, and production operations.

You will collaborate with AI engineers to productionize Python-based AI tools and work across product, frontend, QA, DevOps, and external partners. Responsibilities include delivering RESTful APIs with robust auth, versioning, and pagination;

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of professional experience designing, building, and operating production-grade web services.
• Strong knowledge of CS fundamentals and distributed computing challenges.
• Advanced proficiency in Node.js/TypeScript with Express or NestJS.
• Experience designing and maintaining production-grade RESTful APIs.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, maintain, and operate scalable web services and APIs using Node.js, TypeScript, Python.
• Act as a key developer for AI-enabled solutions, operationalize Python-based AI tools.
• Make high-level architectural decisions balancing scalability, performance, reliability.
• Develop production-grade RESTful APIs with proper authentication, versioning, and pagination.
• Build microservices, event-driven systems, and CQRS for scalable architectures.
• Enforce coding standards and troubleshoot production issues to maintain reliability.
• Collaborate with AI engineers, product, frontend, QA, DevOps, and partners.
• Own backlogs, priorities, and communicate progress and dependencies in English.
