Lever, Inc. is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer for Machine Learning Infrastructure. You will design and operate high-load backend services and data pipelines that power ML workloads, including LLMs, in a remote-first environment.

You’ll own architectural decisions and collaborate with ML and product teams to deliver scalable, reliable platform capabilities. The role emphasizes ownership, modern tooling, and a strong engineering culture, with opportunities to impact how teams build and operate

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of backend or platform engineering experience.
• Proficient in Python and building scalable services.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) or Kubernetes.
• Strong distributed systems and API design knowledge.
• Experience working with modern AI-assisted development tools is a plus.
