You will guide the AI quality foundation, building evaluation frameworks, observability tooling, and production-ready diagnostics for multi-turn AI agents. The role blends hands-on engineering with people management and tech leadership.

You will collaborate with AI Core teams, shape experiments, and optimize cost, latency, and reliability while growing the AI Quality function in a remote, asynchronous environment.

Qualifikationen

• 7+ years of experience building and shipping production software.
• Experience with complex, tool-using AI systems beyond single-turn assistants.
• Strong ability to demonstrate shipped software and measure effectiveness.

Aufgaben

• Design, build, and own evaluation infrastructure for AI agents.
• Develop observability and diagnostics to locate quality issues in AI workflows.
• Investigate failures across AI pipelines and translate findings into prototypes or priorities.
• Build and expand datasets via annotations and AI-generated examples.
• Develop experimentation frameworks for prompts, models, and agent harnesses.
• Identify opportunities to reduce AI system cost and latency.
