Zusammenfassung

ETH Zurich's Microelectronics Design Center seeks a Senior Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design Specialist to join in Zurich, starting 1 January 2027 or by mutual agreement. You will lead the analog/mixed-signal design area and provide advanced support to researchers and students.

You will develop and maintain IC design flows, support tape-out procedures, and collaborate with Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics and open-source tools. Strong communication and leadership will be essential.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering preferred.
• At least 5 years of IC design experience with analog/mixed-signal tape-outs.
• Experience with Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor tools and UNIX scripting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead chip tape-out projects.

Aufgaben

• Lead the analog/mixed-signal IC design area for the DZ.
• Develop and maintain IC design flows; provide support to researchers and students.
• Support tape-out procedures and fabrication through MPW and foundry contacts.
• Interact with students and researchers to assist with IC design questions and chip submission.
• Develop and deliver targeted training modules and hands-on lab sessions for students and researchers.
