Job summary

ETH Zurich's Microelectronics Design Center seeks a Senior Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design Specialist to lead the analog/mixed-signal area of the IC design infrastructure and support researchers and students in IC design, tape-out, and fabrication submissions.

The role requires a PhD (preferred) and at least 5 years in IC design, with strong UNIX and scripting skills and experience using Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics and open-source tools. Office-based with some home office hours is offered.

Qualifications

• PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of IC design experience in industry or research.
• Strong expertise in analog/mixed-signal design and tape-out procedures.
• Proficiency with UNIX and scripting languages; familiarity with major EDA tools.

Responsibilities

• Be the expert for analog/mixed-signal in the DZ.
• Own the analog/mixed-signal area of the IC design infrastructure and develop it further.
• Support design flows covering all aspects of IC design with focus on analog/mixed-signal flows using Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor and open-source tools.
• Interact with students and researchers to assist IC design questions, chip finishing and fabrication submissions.
