Zusammenfassung

Lonza Group Ltd. in Visp, Switzerland, is seeking a seasoned Supply Chain professional to design, supervise and optimize short-term production schedules.

You will coordinate with multiple departments to ensure feasible plans, drive efficient sequencing, and maintain data for MRP and performance metrics. Fluency in English and German, CPIM knowledge, and strong SAP experience are highly valued as you contribute to continuous improvement within a dynamic, global biotech environment.

Qualifikationen

• Extensive years of proven end-to-end Supply Chain experience.
• Solid knowledge of APICS CPIM standards is an advantage.
• Strong SAP background with scheduling and materials planning experience.
• Planview background is a plus for project scheduling and prioritization.
• Ability to engage cross-functionally and communicate clearly.

• Create, supervise and maintain short term schedules to provide departmental awareness and drive execution.
• Incorporate input from relevant departments to ensure schedules are realistic within constraints.
• Drive optimization of schedules by balancing demand priorities with production sequencing and resource utilization.
• Incorporate feedback on changes to schedules in a timely manner.
• Maintain planning parameters for optimal system scheduling and MRP readiness.
• Generate key metrics to identify trends or root causes of sub-optimal performance.
• Review production schedules, work orders, staffing tables to determine requirements and priorities.
• Monitor production data and material usage to support continuous improvement and efficiency reporting.

What you will do:

• Create, supervise and maintain the short term schedules to provide awareness of defined departments to drive short term execution of plans
• Incorporate input from all relevant departments to ensure schedules are realistic within relevant constraints and latest information
• Drive optimization of schedules by balancing demand priorities against optimal production sequencing and efficient resource (facility/suite, equipment, staff, materials etc.) utilization
• Ensure all feedback regarding changes to existing plans is incorporated into schedules in timely manner
• Maintain detailed planning and scheduling parameters in planning system to allow optimal use of system scheduling functionality
• Generate relevant critical metric and operational measures to support identification of trends or root causing of sub-optimal performance
• Maintain accurate production schedule, providing data for the MRP process to meet production demands
• Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements, and material priorities
• Monitor production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures, using this information for Continuous Improvement activities such as maintenance of routings and BOM’s, increasing accuracy of production schedule and efficiency reporting

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience with extensive years of proven experience in end-to-end Supply Chain, solid knowledge in APICS CPIM professional standards is an advantage.
• Strong SAP background with skills in financial, scheduling and materials planning is a must (Planview background an additional benefit)
• Demonstrates the courage and integrity to engage in difficult conversations with internal teams and management when needed, encouraging transparency, growth, and collaboration
• Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to present ideas in a clear and concise manner
• Change adaptability skills
• Proficient in English and German (spoken and written)
