Lonza is seeking a Supply Chain & Inventory Lead for Advanced Synthesis in Switzerland (Visp or Basel). This role drives inventory strategy, KPI definition and cross-site process improvements to optimize stock levels and performance.

You will develop and deploy ADS-wide inventory reporting, monitor trends and risks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient operations and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in material and inventory management with a strong track record in KPI performance improvement.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with complex data sets.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience in matrix organizations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and platforms.
• Fluency in English; German and Chinese are an advantage.

The actual location of this job is in Visp or Basel, Switzerland. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families, if needed.

As part of Advanced Synthesis (ADS), the Supply Chain & Inventory Lead plays a critical role in driving Supply Chain performance across all ADS sites. This position is accountable for inventory management strategy, KPI definition, performance reporting, and cross‑site process improvement. The role is essential for ensuring operational efficiency, optimized inventory levels, and continuous improvement within the ADS Supply Chain organization.

This role is primarily based on site. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards. We offer flexibility to work remotely for no more than 20% of your time. Requests are considered on a case‑by‑case basis, in line with business needs.
