Job summary

Enact in Zürich is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Technician to join our hardware team and ensure high-quality production of our robot actuators and systems. You will build, assemble, prototype, and maintain manufacturing processes, with calibration, quality checks, and continuous improvement as core duties.

The role favors practical problem solving, strong attention to detail, and fluency in English or German with basic English.

Qualifications

• Technical hands-on mechanical assembly and use of workshop tools.
• Relevant trade qualification or equivalent hands-on experience in mechanics.
• Ability to read and interpret basic manufacturing drawings.
• Problem solving and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical build, assembly, and manufacturing steps of robot systems.
• Fabrication of custom parts using manufacturing machines and 3D printers.
• In-process quality control and logging results for traceability.
• Maintenance and calibration of core machines to ensure uptime.
• Improve layout, tooling, and workflows as the workshop scales.
