Enact in Zürich is seeking a hands-on engineer to drive next-gen robotic actuators from prototyping to manufacturing and characterization.

You will design test setups, build rigs, and turn real-world feedback into the next evolution of actuation, with a focus on speed, reliability and measurement accuracy.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in mechanical, mechatronic, or electrical engineering or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Experience in testing, characterization, or quality and reliability engineering.
• Hands-on design and build of test rigs (torque sensors, load cells, dynamometers, encoders, thermocouples).
• Fluency with measurement uncertainty and setup calibration.
• Data-driven approach to root-cause analysis and improving product and process.
• Strong CAD skills for fixtures and test hardware.
• Fluency in English; international team.

Aufgaben

• Motor Test & Characterization: design and build actuator test setups and rigs, and characterize motor performance, torque-ripple, cogging, efficiency, and thermal behavior.
• Quality & Reliability: own motor quality and reliability, including FMEA and life and thermal-cycle testing.
• Root-Cause Analysis & Improvement: investigate failures and performance drift, drive corrective actions, feed findings back into design and production.
• Data, Reporting & Acceptance Criteria: run systematic data collection and technical reporting, define acceptance criteria and KPIs for each unit shipped.
