Job summary

Enact in Zurich is seeking a hands-on Mechatronics Engineer to design, integrate and test the electromechanical systems at the core of its dexterous robots. You will bridge mechanics, electronics and firmware, moving from prototypes toward production to enable reliable, scalable robotic performance.

The role requires a degree in a related field, 3+ years of experience, and strong skills in motors, sensors, debugging tools, Python, and CAD (Onshape).

Qualifications

• Degree in mechatronics, electrical or mechanical engineering.
• 3+ years building complex mechatronic systems.
• Strong knowledge of motors, encoders, sensors and drivers.
• Experience with debugging using oscilloscopes, meters, logic analyzers and data acquisition systems.
• Proficient in Python for test automation and data analysis.
• CAD experience (Onshape) and rapid prototyping.

Responsibilities

• Design, integrate and test electromechanical systems for dexterous robots.
• Lead system assembly, bring-up, and cross-discipline debugging.
• Develop and build automated test setups to move from prototype to production.
