Zusammenfassung

RIVR in Switzerland is seeking a hands-on Field Technician to support maintenance, testing and operation of our advanced robotic systems. You will prepare and service robotic platforms on-site and represent the company in the field, solving issues with professionalism and technical expertise.

The role involves data collection, collaboration with software and hardware engineers, creating SOPs from field learnings, and occasional travel to customer sites.

Qualifikationen

• Degree or apprenticeship in mechatronics, robotics, or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently in the field and perform quick repairs under pressure.
• Ability to follow structured procedures, deployment checklists, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Willingness and ability to travel to field locations – sometimes on short notice; fluent English.

Aufgaben

• On-site troubleshooting and first response to mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
• Data collection and reporting for engineering refinement.
• Preventive maintenance and inspection to maximize uptime.
• Production and assembly support for robots and subsystems.
• Create and update SOPs and deployment checklists from field learnings.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and field kits.
• Ensure safety and compliance in field and workshop environments.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and operations engineers for field feedback.
• Assist with test campaigns and document results with anomalies for review.
