RIVR, part of Amazon, is seeking a Robotics Field Engineer in Switzerland to bridge advanced robotics and real-world deployment. You will act as Tier 2 escalation, interface with Amazon last-mile teams, and help debug hardware and software in live environments.

You will travel up to 50%, contribute RCA insights to QA, and shape field-ready test cases while documenting procedures for Field Technicians. In-person presence at office locations is required.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python for debugging.
• Experience with ROS2 and robotics frameworks.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the Tier 2 technical escalation point for field operations, interfacing directly with Amazon last-mile teams to resolve complex system issues.
• Perform deep-dive Root Cause Analysis on field failures to identify hardware, software, or environmental causes.
• Execute debugging and implement quick fixes to maintain a 1 engineer to 5 robots ratio.
• Collaborate with QA to provide real-world input for full-system test cases and edge-case coverage.
• Lead operational readiness and optimization of deployed robots across diverse sites.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and SOPs for Field Technicians.
• Translate field-identified issues into structured requirements for the product roadmap.
