RIVR, part of Amazon, is seeking a Robotics Field Engineer to join the team in Zürich. You will be the Tier 2 interface for field operations, addressing complex issues in live environments, and providing real-world insights to QA for test cases.

You will debug hardware and software, conduct RCA, and help shape the product roadmap by translating field findings into concrete requirements. A strong engineering background is essential.

Qualifikationen

• A degree in Engineering (Robotics, Mechanical, Electrical) or a related technical field.
• Strong proficiency in C++ and/or Python for debugging and scripting.
• Proven experience with ROS2 and robotics frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with real robot hardware and electromechanical systems.

Aufgaben

• Serve as Tier 2 technical escalation point for field operations.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis on field failures (hardware, software, or environment).
• Debug and apply quick fixes to maintain robot-to-engineer ratio of 1:5.
• Collaborate with QA to inform full-system test cases reflecting field edge cases.
• Lead operational readiness and optimization of deployed robots across sites.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and SOPs for Field Technicians.
• Translate field issues into structured requirements for the product roadmap.
