Embodied AI seeks a Field Technician to support maintenance, testing and operation of robotic systems in Zürich. You will troubleshoot on-site, perform preventive maintenance, assist with production, and contribute to process improvements.

You’ll also document procedures and manage field inventory, while ensuring safety and quality standards. The role requires independence in the field, quick repairs under pressure, and travel to field locations as needed, with strong English communication

Qualifikationen

• Degree or apprenticeship in mechatronics, robotics, or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently in the field and perform quick repairs without supervision.
• Follow structured procedures, deployment checklists, safety protocols, and quality standards.
• Willingness to travel to field locations – sometimes on short notice.
• Working proficiency in English.

Aufgaben

• On-site troubleshooting and first response for mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
• Data collection and reporting to engineering teams for system refinement.
• Preventive maintenance and inspection to maximize uptime.
• Production and assembly support with quality checks.
• Create and refine work instructions and SOPs based on field learnings.
• Inventory and spare parts management for field kits.
• Uphold safety and compliance in workshop and field environments.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and operations engineers on field observations.
• Support test campaigns in lab and field by following procedures and flagging anomalies.
