Research Histopathology Technologist (m/w/d) (Temporary, for 9 months)
Background
The Tissue & Spatial Technologies Platform in the 360 Labs Initiative is seeking an experienced, highlymotivated and collaborative histopathology technologist to provide focused histology services and enable user on-boarding and support for the platform's open lab. The successful candidate will have a robust background in the histological preparation of mammalian tissues and will work as a part of a matrix team, collaborate closely with experts from each of our therapeutic disease areas and functions to advance early drug discovery and participate in the early implementation and growth of the Histopathology Platform within the pRED organization.
The Perfect Candidate (m/f/d): holds a university degree in the life sciences or a laboratory technologist background with at least three years of hands-on histology experience. They possess exceptional technical skills in handling mammalian and delicate tissues—such as cryopreserved nervous-system samples and organoids—mastering everything from fixation to staining, equipment maintenance, and regulatory assay documentation. Furthermore, they combine strong manual dexterity and detail-oriented problem-solving with fluent English communication skills to thrive autonomously in a fast-paced, collaborative research environment.
