Job summary

F. Hofmann La Roche seeks a Research Histopathology Technologist to support Tissue & Spatial Technologies. The role involves end-to-end histology workflows, including fixation, embedding, sectioning and multiplex staining, plus QC and instrument maintenance.

You will train staff and collaborate across disease areas in a fast-paced early drug discovery setting. The ideal candidate holds a life sciences degree with at least three years of histology experience, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• University degree in life sciences or lab technologist background with histology experience.
• Hands-on experience in fixation, embedding, sectioning and staining techniques.
• Knowledge of regulatory assay documentation and data quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end tissue workflows: processing, embedding, sectioning and multiplex staining.
• Perform QC, maintenance, and troubleshooting of histology instruments to ensure data quality.
• Provide training and support for histology equipment; collaborate with scientists on assays.
• Stay current with scientific literature to apply new methods in histopathology.
