ITech Consult Basel seeks an experienced Research Histopathology Technologist to support tissue processing, embedding, sectioning and staining for mammalian samples. You will work within the Tissue & Spatial Technologies Platform to enable platform onboarding and close collaboration with disease-area experts.

The ideal candidate holds a life sciences degree with 3+ years of hands-on histology, excellent manual dexterity, and fluent English.

Qualificações

University degree in life sciences or laboratory technologist background with hands-on histology experience.
Exceptional skills in histological preparation of mammalian tissues and cryosectioning.
Ability to handle delicate samples and maintain tissue-based assay documentation.
Fluent English communication and autonomous work in a fast-paced research setting.

Responsabilidades

Execute end-to-end workflows for tissue specimens including embedding, sectioning, and staining (IHC/ISH/IF) and digital pathology.
Perform quality control, maintenance, and troubleshooting of histology instruments to ensure data quality.
Provide training and support for histology equipment and collaborate to optimize tissue assays in early drug discovery.
Stay current with scientific literature and integrate new histology approaches as needed.
