Job summary

Flexsis AG, Filiale Basel LS is seeking a Research Histopathology Technologist (m/w/d) for Basel on a 9‑month temporary basis. Start date: 01 November 2026.

You will perform tissue processing, embedding, sectioning, staining including IHC/ISH/IF, and digital pathology workflows. Requirements include a life sciences degree or Laboratory Technologist qualification and at least 3 years’ histology experience, with strong attention to detail, data quality, and English communication.

Qualifications

• University degree in life sciences or Laboratory Technologist qualification.
• At least 3 years of histology laboratory experience.
• Hands-on skills in fixation, embedding, sectioning, and staining.
• Knowledge of histology equipment operation and QC procedures.
• Strong English communication and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end tissue workflows: processing, embedding, sectioning, staining (IHC/ISH/IF).
• Perform quality control and maintenance on histology instruments.
• Provide training and support for histology equipment and protocols.
• Engage with literature to stay updated on histopathology techniques.
