Job summary

Cognite is seeking a Business Development Director for the Supply Chain CoE to drive growth by winning new supply chain business across international accounts. You will act as a domain expert, leveraging Cognite Applications and the Cognite Data Fusion Platform to transform customer value chains.

Role requires deep supply chain domain knowledge, strategic selling skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams through long, high-stakes sales cycles.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Manufacturing/industrial supply chain.
• 7+ years selling enterprise software/SaaS to C-suite.
• Experience in high-growth startup environments (Series A–C).
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding SaaS bookings targets.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a targeted territory CoE strategy to accelerate bookings growth.
• Generate pipeline and provide commercial insights to optimize the supply chain value chain.
• Lead extended territory teams through complex enterprise sales cycles to exceed bookings targets.
• Quantify ROI and build business cases for software investments with C-level executives.
• Collaborate with partners to qualify opportunities and drive joint engagements.
• Negotiate pricing and terms to reflect long-term value of Cognite’s solutions.
• Coordinate with Product Management and Marketing to feed market insights into strategy.
• Forecast monthly/quarterly bookings and maintain account records in Salesforce.com.
